Check out this tiny little beauty! It's amazing how much detail they can cram into a 3" tall keychain these days. If these existed in my school days, I totally would have been one of those kids with a tricked out backpack that jingled and rattled as I sprinted late to every class (tardiness is forever one of my biggest flaws). These keychains from Elephant Gun are amazing to me. I really enjoy Ant Lucia's DC Bombshells designs. I have an affinity for pin-up art, and regular readers will know I'm gaga over my DC ladies. So this property seems like a perfect fit for me. However, I never even considered buying the Bombshells statues due to price and lack of display space. I have kind of made it a habit to ignore anything related to the Bombshells during the past three years for just those reasons. However, these tiny keychain versions are well within my budget and they can easily squeeze into any of my shelf displays. I'm very excited to buy them all as they come out. Let's check out Bombshell Harley below!
This keychain is easily de-chained. The eyelet loop is buried deep in her head, but it unthreads easily.
Plus, she can actually stand freely once it's removed. She's not exactly stable, but she'll be upright for a few photos.
Here she is next to a picture of the DC Collectible Bombshells Statue from 2013.
The statue was sculpted by Tim Miller and designed by Ant Lucia, so since this keyring looks like a pantographed version of the statue, they likely deserve artist credit.
Time for some Group and Comparison Pics!
Here she is next to the Arkham Knight keychain reviewed last month.
Cheers!
Gotta get me one of these!
ReplyDeleteThey're pretty great. My comic shops and Hot topics carry them.
DeleteThanks to your review of the Arkham Knight HQ, I ordered both that and Bombshells HQ from BBTS. They're sitting in my Pile of Loot right now, and I'm looking forward to getting them whenever I decide to ship my loot (probably after the Ahsoka Black Series wave arrives).
ReplyDeleteThey are very cool. I'm looking forward to getting the Batgirl Bombshells one. They also have a Wonder Woman from BvS coming out. I was looking at their catalog and they have decals of the Babs Tarr Batgirl and various Marvel ladies like Ms. Marvel and Spider-Gwen. Hopefully that means there might be keychains on the horizon. I'm definitely going to keep my eyes on this brand.
