As uncertain as this final season of Game of Thrones is likely to be, I'm fairly confident that Arya is one of those characters that will be there until the very end. There have been a lot of characters that have been strong and resilient throughout the story, but there's something special about the tenacity of Arya. Maybe it's the fact that we first met her as a rebellious young (relatable) tomboy without many cares in the world. As her life was turned upside-down, she persevered and we all rooted for her success and survival. And the young woman she's grown into has been surprising. She is skilled, determined, loyal, and often cold. But she still has a glimmer of that young girl inside her. It makes her very endearing. I'm excited to see how her story will play out. I'm predicting that she will lead the massive wolf pack into battle with her warg powers. I would love to see that. But considering the wolves have been all but ignored in the show lately, it's probably a pipe dream. Let's check out Arya's new McFarlane figure below!
Arya comes with Catspaw and Needle (I love when blades have names).
She also comes with a figure stand, but she honestly doesn't need it.
Time for some Group and Comparison Pics!
Here is Arya with her Series 01 wave-mate, Daenerys Targaryen.
And with her 2014 Funko figure.
Cheers!
Awesome figure. I haven't found her yet. Hope McFarlane makes more. Also need to catch up on Seasons 5-7.
ReplyDeleteOut of the figures that display had, this one sold out nearly immediately. The Walmart here STILL has the other characters on the shelves, months later. My main gripe with this is the eyes. It's like they totally did not capture the actresses massive eyes at all. It's McFarlane though... it's just lucky her face paint's not all scratched to hell.
