When the Transformers One product was revealed and started hitting shelves earlier this year, Elita-1 was depressingly absent from the character representation. As the primary female character in the movie, prominently featured in all the posters and trailers, this was baffling and disappointing. For a brief while, I thought the Burger King toy would be the best movie Elita figure. But things have turned around. When all is said and done, there should be seven new Elita-1 toys in this design, but the release schedule is very slow (The Hasbro Movie Masters figure currently has a release date of exactly one year from today, Nov 3rd 2025). But in the meantime, the first real articulated figures are two model kits from Yolopark featuring both versions of Elita, Cog-less (before she has the ability to transform), and Cogged (after her Cog of Transformation is reinstalled). Neither figure is transforming mind you. This review is for the smaller 5.12" Cog-less model kit. Let's check her out below!
This kit comes with 30 pieces. They are all pre-painted and not attached to sprues. Some of the main joints are already assembled (like the knees and the torso joint). This kit assembled really nicely with no loose pieces or misleading instructions. This is a very solid figure.
One thing that really stood out to me was the color of this figure. She is a distinct dark maroon instead of the pinkish hue I would have expected. She still looks good, and the color looks right in the group shots with the other Yolopark models, but I have a feeling that when compared to the upcoming Movie Masters, Blokees, and ThreeZero figures, she will look dull and flat.
Her eyes look really great. They are just a metallic blue paint over sculpted eyes of concentric rings, but it looks awesome.
Elita-1 comes with three pairs of hands, a Jet Pack, a panel to cover the Jet Pack port when it's not attached, and a Cog of Conversion accessory.
Time for some Group and Comparison Pics!
Here are the two Yolopark Elita-1 kits side-by-side:
The 5" Cog-Less Mode and the 7" Cogged Mode. I honestly didn't realize that the cogs increased their overall stature, perhaps because all the main characters get powered-up at once. But watching those scenes again, I realize this size change is part of the cog process.
And here are all the Transformers One Elita-1 figures so far: From Left to Right: The Hasbro Robot Battler, the Yolopark 5" Cog-Less Mode, the Yolopark 7" Cogged Mode, and the Burger King Kid's Meal figure.
Cheers!
